Our Maple Lodge family is a large and happy one. It comprises of 13 residents with learning disabilities and an experienced and committed staff team.

Our residents come from a wide range of backgrounds and all have their own, often moving, story to tell. Many of them had spent most of their lives in a variety of institutions before joining us.

Maple Lodge has provided the opportunity for people like Caroline, Jo and Mary to experience family for the first time.

Within two years Maple Lodge will no longer be able to meet the changing needs of some of our older residents. There are no residential services for older people with learning disabilities in the Borough.

For our residents this means that they will be located a great distance away from the friends that they love and the staff who understand and care for them when they are approaching one of the most vulnerable periods in their life.

We are committed to keeping our Maple Lodge family together.
