Governance at Fircroft

The Fircroft Trust is managed by a Board of nine Trustees that meet monthly and are responsible for the overall direction of the organisation and for ensuring all statutory obligations are met. All our Trustees are very committed to our service users. They are often seen volunteering in a variety of roles, from driving the minibus to leading a music group.

The Chief Executive, Kay Harris, reports to the Trustees and has a group of four managers who report to her. The small administrative team comprise of a Finance Manager and an assistant as well as two part-time PR/Fundraisers. By necessity all teams have a wide remit to their job descriptions.

The Fircroft Centre is staffed five support workers headed up by a Team Leader. There is also a Service Administrator. The Service User committee (which is currently interregnum) is comprised of 5 members who feed into the managers’ team through the staff.

Our Residential homes are managed by a Residential Manager and a team of 15 Residential Support Workers headed up by two Team Leaders. Residents also have their own meetings where they discuss issues of interest to them.
