Aims of The Fircroft Trust

The Fircroft CentreThe Fircroft Trust exists to support people living in the community with mental health problems and or learning disabilities and enable them to maximise their potential.

Our aim at Fircroft is to provide a welcoming and supporting environment for adults aged 17 to 65, living in the community who may be experiencing or recovering from a wide range of mental health issues.

The primary function of Fircroft Centre is to provide a wide range of services - occupational, therapeutic, educational, social and leisure activities - which are responsive to the needs of people experiencing long-term and short-term mental health problems.

Attendance is usually on a part-time basis of between one and five days each week,or maybe just a single group session, depending on need. We average a total of 80 service users.

We provide a nutritional two-course lunch each day, for which there is a small charge in line with the mobile meals service. Tea, coffee etc are also available.

Fircroft’s programme is continuously under review in order to reflect the needs of our service user’s.
